Most of the time my sketches are not all that pretty, usually consisting of boxes and labels, but I at least like to draw a general idea of how I want the end product to be. Sometimes the sketch mirrors the final design, but most of the time it changes. Here is probably one of the better sketch-to-vector transitions.
